Thelong off-season is over,it's time to go racing again. And there's only 43 teams that think they have what it takes to win the championship. Which means only one thing, 42 teams are going to be damned disappointed. Did anybody think Tony Stewart would win the championship after finishing DEAD LAST in the Daytona 500? Let's face it, the Daytona 500 is not the best indicator of who the championship contenders will be, remember Ward Burton and Elliott Sadler finishing 1st and 2nd last year? But here's the most important thing, it's time to rumble for the next 9 months. Gentlemen, start your engines and let the racing begin!!!!!!!!

It's time to celebrate the 2002 Winston Cup Champion, Tony Stewart. After a last place finish at the Daytona 500 Tony came back in style to win the championship. Tony had two terrible finishes at Daytona along with having to be relieved at Bristol after the horrendous crash at Darlington. Does Tony deserve this championship, you're damn right he does!!!!

A champion is crowned because of his performance over the entire 36 race season. Through consistency and grit Tony demonstrated his mettle and determination. HAIL THE CHAMPION, TONY STEWART!!!!!
